New pattern Crochet Buffalo plaid Family hats. I’m so excited to share this family set of patterns with you! Our Crochet Buffalo Plaid Family Hats I designed specifically for our holiday family photo! I think the hats turned out beautifully.
It’s been a while since I braved the dreaded family photo session. If you have little ones, you know what I mean. My husband is the worst; I have to drag him kicking and screaming. My kids are getting much bigger, and I have to say this was the easiest experience yet!
Coordinating a family of 6 can have it’s challenges but thanks to Old Navy I managed to coordinate us all in a quick one stop shop! The weather was even on our side with a fresh snow fall. The perfect Christmas photo! Christmas cards will definitely be going out this year!

What you’ll get in our crochet buffalo plaid family hat pattern are 3 great hat styles. The solid ribbed crochet hat can be worn either flipped or slouched. This pattern is easy and works up quickly.
You’ll also get our Boys/Men’s regular style band buffalo plaid crochet hat. I wanted everyone to be a bit different so I used pewter and black for my boy hats.
The pattern also includes our girls flipped band buffalo plaid crochet hat. I crocheted this hat with a white band, and I think it looks adorable on little Meg. The crochet pattern sizing also includes baby size, so we don’t miss anyone in your family!
