I wanted to share this video on how to make a lacy inexpensive arm knit scarf. For those of you that just can’t master knitting and crochet this is a super-fast and easy project to try. It’s even fun for us seasoned crochet and knitting artists. There are so many new and cool yarns on the market to experiment with. When making an arm knit scarf you need a wide yarn or two stands of super bulky weight. I wanted to create something that wasn’t too warm that would be a great transition piece from winter to spring or fall to winter. So I used this beautiful Patons Pirouette yarn, it has a beautiful lacy edge and comes in a variety of colours. In my video I used Harvest Red perfect for the fall season. I adore scarves and the extra fun and colour pop they can add to an outfit!! They are the perfect addition to your wardrobe or a great gift. I taught my girlfriends how to make them and we had a blast! We visited all the Michael’s stores in the area to stock up on supplies so they could all go home and teach their daughters how to make them too, kids just love making these. They are sometimes even more coordinated and pick up on it quicker than us adults. It’s so fun when you can create something so quick and feel accomplished. For mom’s out there looking for fun ideas for Birthday parties this is a great idea and the perfect take home party favour. Right now you can pick this yarn up from the yarn factory outlet for only $8 US for 6 balls, you can’t beat that price! 3 scarves for $8! Order soon so you don’t miss out on this great offer.
