Crochet Everyday Lace Tee

New crochet pattern plus free video tutorial! The Crochet Everyday Lace Tee by Sentry Box Designs is worked in one piece with a cluster lace stitch pattern worked across the chest, back and sleeves. It’s the perfect transitional piece for moderate temperatures. Solid front and back provides the right amount of coverage. The elegant lace stitch works up beautifully in a 2 row repeat. 

This feminine design is made in  Sprightly Yarns Acrylic Worsted.  Shown in a gorgeous shade of teal. Due to the closing of Bluprint you can make this design in Brava Worsted from WeCrochet. Make in Tidepool or pick from a variety of colours.

Our crochet Everyday Lace Tee is an Intermediate design written in standard American terms. PDF Pattern includes size Small – 5X. It’s a relatively easy garment style piece to work up without any shaping.

Cluster Lace Stitch pattern is seamlessly worked across the sleeves. To ensure the right amount of coverage and arm fit it’s important to measure your body first and pick the appropriate size. Alter the lace detail if needed for your body.

To determine the correct amount of lace to work measure from collarbone to desired length on chest (to ensure proper coverage). Also measure upper arm. The measurement from collarbone to chest times 2 must be able to fit your upper arm.  Based on standard measurements pattern sizing is as follows; collarbone – chest 5 (6, 6, 7, 8, 9, 9, 10)”, upper arm 10 (12, 12, 14, 16, 18, 18, 20)”.

Special Stitches:

3 Dc Cluster Stitch – Yo (yarn over), go through indicated stitch and pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 loops, *yo, going through the same st, pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 loops; rep from *[1 more time], yo, pull through all 4 loops on the hook.
