To make this sunflower granny square blanket, you will need a total of 56 squares. You will have 7 squares wide and 8 squares long. You can easily add more or less squares for a smaller or larger blanket.

If you’re seeing the message “Email subscription failed, please try again”, don’t worry — it’s usually an easy fix! Here are a few quick things to try:
First, double-check your login details. Make sure you’re signing in with the same email you originally used to create your Grow account. If you’re not sure, click “Forgot Password” to reset your login. Once you’ve updated it, return to my site and try again.
Next, clear your browser’s cache and cookies. Sometimes the login just gets stuck. You can also try opening the page in a private or incognito window, or switching to another browser like Chrome, Safari, or Firefox to see if that does the trick.
It also helps to make sure you’re logged into Grow directly. Visit https://grow.me and sign in there first. Once you’re logged in, come back to my site and refresh the page — your pattern should unlock automatically.
If you’re still having trouble, check your browser’s privacy settings. Grow needs cookies to verify your account, so make sure cookies and cross-site tracking are allowed. On iPhone, go to Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security, then turn off “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking” and “Block All Cookies.” On Android or Chrome, go to Settings → Site Settings → Cookies and select “Allow all cookies.”
Lastly, ad blockers or browser extensions can sometimes block the login pop-up. Try turning them off temporarily while you sign in. Seaming
Watch the tutorial for instructions, or purchase the PDF for written instructions and a joining chart. The blanket is 7 squares wide and 8 squares long. Use the join-as-you-go method (Jayg), Or complete one more round of granny stitch and use your preferred joining method.
Border:
Round 1:
Ch 2 (counts as 1 hdc here and throughout), 1 hdc in each dc, 1 hdc in each ch-2 and ch-1 sp around, at corners work (2 hdc, ch 2, 2 hdc), sl st in starting ch-2 to join.
Rounds 2-3:
Ch 2, work 1 hdc in each st around, at corners work (2 hdc, ch 2, 2 hdc), sl st in starting ch-2 to join.
Round 4 (picot edge):
Ch 1 (sc, ch 3, sc) in same first st, sk next st, *(sc, ch 3, sc) in next st, sk next st; rep from * around working (sc, ch 3, sc) in corners, sl st in first sc to join. Fasten off and weave in tails.
Blocking:
Immerse the blanket in lukewarm water with a small amount of woolwash. Let it soak for approximately 25-30 minutes. After soaking, gently squeeze out excess water. Next, lay the blanket on blocking mats and pin it to the measurements (52″x 59″). While pinned, allow to air dry completely. Once dry, remove the pins.
