The Harvest Twist Ear Warmer is a free crochet pattern on my blog. This modern and chic ear warmer is perfect for Fall. As the weather starts to get cool, a crocheted ear warmer is the ideal accessory. It looks great styled with a top knot bun or equally stunning worn with your hair down. The pattern is crocheted in Herringbone Single Crochet, so the fabric comes out thick and bulky. Video tutorial on YouTube included.

Intermediate skill level.

The Harvest Twist Ear Warmer is an Easy level pattern, and it’s quick to crochet. The crochet stitch works up beautifully and has a knit look effect. If you’ve never crocheted this stitch before, I encourage you to try it out. I’ve worked through it slowly in my YouTube tutorial. I found this stitch tricky to learn, so I hope I’ve made it easy for you to understand.

The Yarn

The yarn used to crochet the Harvest Twist Ear Warmer pattern is a new acrylic yarn from Furls crochet called Wander. It’s a 100% Acrylic yarn that is very soft with a beautiful sheen. It comes in 24 gorgeous shades. All you need is one skein to make an Ear warmer.

The Hook

I love crocheting with my Streamline Hooks from Furls. I find them light and easy to work with. The only thing I’d caution you about is they are breakable. I discovered this the hard way. I treat them like babies now and make sure not to drop any onto my hardwood floor. They are so nice to work with that I’m willing to risk it. I used the Cafe hook for this project and it’s definitely giving the cozy caffeine vibes I need this time of year.
