Learn how to crochet the loop stitch using a crocheted piece of yarn and a crochet hook.

You will need to know how to Single Crochet for this tutorial

In our loop stitch video tutorial I’m using Sprightly Yarns Acrylic Wool Super Bulky #6 and a 16mm Q hook. I use this hook and Yarn for our Alpaca my Llama Blanket

Written Instructions:

Abbreviations:

Chain – ch

Loop Stitch – Lp

Right Side – RS

Single Crochet – sc

Stitch(es) – st (sts)

Wrong Side – WS

Learn how to create the Loop Stitch using only a crochet hook.

Row 1 (RS): Ch 11, work 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and in each ch across, turn—10 sts.

Row 2 (WS): Ch 1 (not included as a stitch), work 1 lp in each st across, turn—10 sts.

Row 3: Ch 1, work 1 sc in each st across, turn—10 sts.

Rep Row 2 and 3
