How to Crochet an Easy Plaid Pillow! Coordinates with our Rustic Farmhouse Plaid Throw Blanket!

This is an easy way to crochet plaid in rows that eliminates cutting and carrying yarn. Work this pattern with 3 colours of your choice. I’ve created a video tutorial on YouTube to show you how to make this quick and easy plaid pillow.


Yarn Requirements: Bulky Weight Yarn is Needed
Bernat Roving (80% Acrylic, 20% Wool (3.5oz/100g/120yds/109m) Shown in (MC) Putty, (A) Low Tide and (B) Dark Grey

Finished Size: 17 x 17″
Balls Needed MC 2 and 1 each colour A and B
Crochet Hook Requirements:
US L/11 (8mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
Additional Supplies:
- Yarn needle
- 16 x 16″ Pillow Form – Buy at Walmart
Gauge:
9 sts and 7 rows equal to 4″ in pattern
Stitches you’ll need to know to complete this pattern
Abbreviations:
Ch – Chain
Dc – Double Crochet

Hdc – Half Double Crochet

MC – Main Color
Rep – Repeat
RS – Right Side
Sc – Single Crochet

Sk – Skip
Sl St – Slip Stitch
Sp(s) – Space(s)
St(s) – Stitch(es)
WS – Wrong side
( ) – Work step in parentheses in indicated stitch
