This how-to crochet a shawl tutorial is perfect for beginners. The gorgeous detail is created by working Long Double Crochet Stitches that replicate a dropped stitch look. Adding Fringe gives this triangle crochet shawl pattern a modern boho look. Make in any DK yarn. Wear the crochet shawl multiple ways and suitable for all seasons.

A crochet shawl is a wardrobe staple. No matter the season a shawl is the perfect fashion accessory to spice up your look. Wear over your shoulders with a strapless or spaghetti strap dress for coverage and warmth.

As the weather gets cooler, drape over the shoulders or wrap around the neck to stay cozy. I love grabbing a shawl over a jacket. It’s usually all I need to stay comfortable on Fall days.

Lastly, even when we dive into jacket weather, wrap the shawl around your neck. You can wear over the top of a fitted coat or tuck inside a puffy jacket to keep your neck and chest extra toasty.
