Welcome to the Suzette Raglan Cardigan! This beautiful design was one of the very first pieces I created for the Falling For Suzette Collection, and it holds a special place in my heart.

I’ve loved the Suzette Stitch for years, it was one of the very first stitches I learned when I started crocheting! It’s such a relaxing, rhythmic stitch that works up quickly and always looks beautiful.
This cardigan showcases the stitch perfectly. The top-down seamless construction allows the colours in the yarn to flow naturally, creating smooth, uninterrupted transitions across the front, back, and sleeves; no bulky seams, just a flawless finish!
And really, who doesn’t love a cozy cardigan with a hood and pockets? It’s one of my favourites! You can also make it a cropped version that looks amazing with any dress or pair of high-waisted jeans.
The pattern includes a step-by-step video tutorial and written instructions for sizes XS–5X. The top-down design also makes it easy to customize the length or adjust the fit to suit your style. I cannot wait to work up more of these cardigans in different colours!

Project Overview
The Suzette Cardigan is a seamless top down crochet design worked in the beautifully textured Suzette stitch for a polished finish with no sewing required. Available in sizes XS to 5X, this versatile pattern includes two options: a long hooded version with pockets or a shorter classic button up style, both finished with traditional ribbed cuffs, hem, and collar bands. Designed in soft DK weight yarn with stunning colour transitions that highlight the texture, it’s the perfect relaxed layering piece, and includes a step by step video tutorial for size Medium to guide you through the process.

Construction
The Suzette Cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down in a classic raglan style, making it easy to adjust both the fit and length as you go. The yoke is crocheted in rows, with increases along the raglan seams to shape the shoulders. Once the yoke is complete, the sleeves are placed on hold while the body is joined and worked in rows to the hem.
The hemline is finished with a join-as-you-go ribbed band for a polished, professional edge. For the hooded version, join the hood to the foundation row and work it in rows, then seam along the top. Add the join as you go ribbed collar, including buttonholes if desired for the button up version.
To complete the cardigan, rejoin the sleeves, work them to the desired length, and finish with matching ribbed cuffs for a cohesive look.
