Easy skill level.
Tuff Love Crochet Toque

The Tuff Love Crochet Toque is an Easy level pattern, and it’s quick to crochet. The front post double crochet stitches make a beautiful cable pattern. I work through the steps of this stitch slowly in my video tutorial, so I encourage you to try it out. I’m a fast crocheter so I can work up this crochet hat in only about 30 minutes. For most of you I believe you can crochet this hat in under an hour!

The Yarn

The yarn used to crochet the Tuff Love Crochet Toque pattern is Tuff Puff from WeCrochet and Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick. Tuff Puff is a 100% wool roving and Thick & Quick is an acrylic wool blend. You can substitute any Super Bulky weight yarn for this pattern or hold together two strands of heavy worsted weight yarn.

The Hook

I love crocheting with my Streamline Hooks from Furls. They are light and easy to work with. I especially love the large hooks. They are so nice to work with and I can crochet for hours without hand pain. I used the Cookie and Taurus hook for this project.
