Row 7:

Finishing

First Panel:

Fasten off and weave in all tails.

Second Panel:

Do not fasten off. With the second panel on your hook, place both panels right sides facing, aligning the stitches of the final row.

Ch 1, slip stitch the panels together across the row by inserting your hook through the back loop of the panel closest to you and the front loop of the panel farthest from you. Slip stitch across in this manner, working through these two inside loops of each corresponding stitch to join the panels.

Fasten off and weave in the remaining tail.

The joined edge creates the fold of the towel holder. Fold the piece over a handle or bar, then slide your towel through the wooden rings to secure it in place.

Three crocheted teething rings with attached patterned muslin cloths, which can also double as a soft towel holder, are laid out on a white surface beside green leafy sprigs.
