The Yarn
Our Christmas Tree skirt pattern works up quickly. I used Tuff Puff, a super bulky roving wool yarn from WeCrochet and their Super Bulky Fable Fur. It’s an enjoyable crochet project you can work on in the evenings with a hot cup of cocoa and Christmas movies. You will need 11 balls of Tuff Puff and 2 Balls of Fable Fur.

The Hook
I used one of my favourite crochet hooks to work up this crochet tree skirt pattern. I’m so impressed with the Hook Nook jumbo crochet hooks. I love the length and grip. I was looking for an excuse to use it again. It worked perfectly for this project.

After making my Bobble Christmas Tree Sweaters, I’m in love with the crochet bobble stitch. I will have to use it for a few more projects before the year’s end. You can check out the matching Bobble Stockings HERE and Bobble Baskets HERE.

It’s been exciting starting my Christmas decorating this year. I’m not finished yet, but I’m making progress. I wanted to stick to cream as my main colour with touches of grey and black plaid accents. I always have a little touch of blue that sneaks into the mix. The time is rushing by too quickly, so I hope to make everything on my list this year.
