Having trouble unlocking the pattern?

If you’re seeing the message “Email subscription failed, please try again”, don’t worry — it’s usually an easy fix! Here are a few quick things to try:
First, double-check your login details. Make sure you’re signing in with the same email you originally used to create your Grow account. If you’re not sure, click “Forgot Password” to reset your login. Once you’ve updated it, return to my site and try again.
Next, clear your browser’s cache and cookies. Sometimes the login just gets stuck. You can also try opening the page in a private or incognito window, or switching to another browser like Chrome, Safari, or Firefox to see if that does the trick.
It also helps to make sure you’re logged into Grow directly. Visit https://grow.me and sign in there first. Once you’re logged in, come back to my site and refresh the page — your pattern should unlock automatically.
If you’re still having trouble, check your browser’s privacy settings. Grow needs cookies to verify your account, so make sure cookies and cross-site tracking are allowed. On iPhone, go to Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security, then turn off “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking” and “Block All Cookies.” On Android or Chrome, go to Settings → Site Settings → Cookies and select “Allow all cookies.”
Lastly, ad blockers or browser extensions can sometimes block the login pop-up. Try turning them off temporarily while you sign in. If nothing seems to work, log out of Grow completely by going to https://grow.me, selecting your profile icon, and choosing Log Out. Then come back to my site and try logging in again.

PATTERN

Notes:

To change colours, work the last yarn over of the last stitch with the next colour. Carry the MC yarn up the right side of the work by crocheting over the colour being carried in the last and first stitch. Cut and weave all other colours.

Instructions: Refer to the chart for the colour pattern.

Colour Chart:

Row 1 (RS): 

With smaller hook and MC, ch 144, 1 sc in the back hump (leg) of 2nd ch from the hook and in each ch across, turn—143 sts. Change to A, drop off MC.

Row 2 (WS): 

With A and larger hook, ch 1 (not included as a st here and throughout), 1 sc in first st, * ch 1, sk st, sc in next st; rep from * across, turn—143 sts (including ch-1 sps).

Row 3: 

With A, ch 1, 1 sc in first st, 1 sc in ch 1-sp, *ch 1, sk sc, 1 sc in ch-1 sp; rep from * across, 1 sc in last st turn. Change to MC, cut A.

Row 4: 

With MC, ch 1, 1 sc in first st, * ch 1, sk sc, sc in next ch-1 sp; rep from * across, end with ch 1, sk sc, sc in last sc, turn. Change to B, drop of MC.

Rows 5-165: 

Rep Rows 3 & 4. Refer to the chart for the colour pattern. Rows 1-15 of the colour chart is repeated 11 times for the blanket.

Row 166: 

With MC and smaller hook, ch 1, 1 sc in each sc and ch-1 sp across—143 sts. Fasten off and weave in tails.

Border

Setup Round: 

With MC put a slip knot on the larger hook, join yarn to top right st with a sl st, sl st in each st across the top of the blanket, at corner, ch 2, sl st in each row across the side, at corner, ch 2, sl st in each st across the bottom, at corner, ch 2, st st in each row across the side, at corner, ch 2, sl st in first, sl st to join.

Round 1: 

With smaller hook, ch 2, work 1 dc in the blo of each st around, at ch-2 corners add 3 dc, sl st in 2nd ch of beg ch-2 to join. *Pm in centre stitch at the corner if needed.

Round 2: 

Ch 1, 1 fpdc around first st, *1 bpdc next st, 1 fpdc next st, at corner st (1 bpdc, 1 fpdc, 1 bpdc); rep from * around, at each corner, in the centre dc of the previous round follow the pattern by working either a (fpdc, bpdc, fpdc) or (bpdc, fpdc, bpdc) all around the same st, sl st in the first fpdc to join. Pm in the centre stitch at the corner if needed. Rounds 3 & 4: Rep round 2. Work as many rounds as desired. Fasten off and weave in tails.

Blocking

Wet the blanket in lukewarm water with a small amount of dish soap or woolwash. Allow soaking for around 25-30 min. Squeeze out as much water as possible. Wrap in a towel to press out the excess water. Lay the on blocking mats and pin it to the measurements. Allow to dry thoroughly, and remove pins.
