New Free crochet pattern! The Rustic Farmhouse Style Basket.
I needed a crochet basket to hold all the spa goodies I prepared for my girls for Valentine’s Day. So I whipped up this cute little basket for them.
To begin with, you’ll need a few things to get started. Firstly, you’ll need a ball of super bulky weight yarn. Secondly, a 9-11mm crochet hook. Lastly, some jute twine to give your crochet basket a rustic look.
Table of Contents
The first crochet basket I made inspired me to make create a set of nesting baskets. Therefore I could use them for a variety of things. I used Super Bulky yarn so that the crochet baskets would work up quickly and be nice and sturdy.
I love it when I can crochet something I need with all the supplies on hand! Even better when it only takes about 30 minutes to make! I had everything I needed in my craft supplies to make this cute set.
Unfortunately, the original yarn I used, Sprightly yarns are no longer available, but I’ve found a great substitute for you. Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick works perfectly and has lots of great colours to choose from. Read on for the Free pattern.
