I love a Bulky & Quick pattern!  The Buffalo Plaid tree Skirt & Pillow is made using Bernat Blanket yarn so it will wash up great and is thick and cozy for your tree!  I wanted to give my tree skirt that ‘Rustic Farmhouse Look’ so I used jute cord (rope) to tie my skirt together.

When I design a pattern I like to use up every bit of yarn! So I added a pillow cover to this pattern (you can make it from the left over tree skirt yarn YAY).  The red doesn’t match my normal decor of blues so I wanted some covers for my couch pillows.  I think it would be fun to mix and match colours for the flap over piece.

I’m planning on using this Tree Skirt for our big Christmas tree but I styled it on my office tree for photos.
