The Glistening Glacier Afghan is a beautiful inset mosaic crochet pattern featuring a large diamond shape pattern. This pattern is inspired by the breathtaking terrain of the Rocky Mountains. Inset mosaic crochet is a no-tail crochet technique that is used to create intricate colourwork patterns without the hassle of tails to weave in. Inset Mosaic Crochet – No tails technique
The blanket is worked flat in rows from the bottom up. A chart, written pattern and video tutorial are included in the PDF. For every row of the chart, 2 rows are crocheted, and the tails are carried up the right-hand side of the blanket. Read Row 1 from right to left and Row 1a from left to right. See the chart in the pattern for inset mosaic chart directions. Finish the blanket with a ribbed border.
