The Coconut Macaroon Crochet Dress will become your favourite winter staple. Dress it up with a pair of heels or dress it down and layer over leggings. Easily customize the length to your taste and emphasize a tiny waist with a belt. The exquisite braided cable is worked down the centre of the dress to draw the eye vertically, creating a slimming effect. The video tutorial is on YouTube.
Crochet Sweater Dress Details
The Coconut Macaroon Crochet Dress pattern is worked in pieces from the bottom up. It’s easy to customize the length to your preference. The pattern includes a turtleneck option or crochet with a crewneck, as pictured.
The sleeves are worked separately and then seamed. All these steps are covered in our step-by-step video tutorial.

My crochet dress is designed in Wool Of The Andes Tweed from WeCrochet in Wreath Heather. I absolutely love the yarn I used for this design. The earthy tones and flecks throughout remind me of bits of coconut and helped me name this design after one of my favourite snacks; the coconut macaroon. All the designs in the winter issue have a cookie or holiday treat name!
